Alcalá Origin
Our Alcalá Origin coffee is inspired by the resplendent mountains of this municipality, the land of the Quimbaya indigenous people, located in the Cauca River basin on a mountainous terrain of tropical and humid dry forests, ideal for cultivating crops, especially coffee.
Among the magical mountains of this municipality, there are various streams that provide unique places where waterfalls ranging from 35 to 60 meters in height can be found, such as those of El Mico, Las Brujas, and La Andrea, all tributaries belonging to the La Vieja River.

El Cairo Origin
The municipality of El Cairo is located at the top of a mountain, surrounded by tropical jungles, misty forests, and abundant streams, creating a wonderful microclimate. In addition, its colonial architecture reflects more than 100 years of coffee tradition, which is evident in every cup of coffee and is a fundamental part of its belonging to the Coffee Cultural Landscape recognized by UNESCO.
In this beautiful region, visitors can enjoy La Serranía de Los Paraguas, one of the best-preserved Andean forests in the area.
Toro Origin
As the Cauca River delves into its depths, it reveals a fascinating geographical duality in the municipality of Toro, Valle. On one side, a flat area extends, while on the other, the Western Andes Mountain Range rises majestically, creating a mountainous zone. This unique configuration provides the municipality with a great diversity of thermal soils, ranging from warm to cold climates. The Cauca River takes pride in nourishing the nearby Toro, Induque, and San Lázaro rivers, as well as their smaller tributaries.
The region’s history holds an indigenous treasure located in the surroundings of the Bohio hamlet, within a large cave considered magical or enchanted by the local population. It is precisely in this place where our coffee, Bahareque Origin Toro, originates.
